Confidence Falls

Consumer confidence falls to a 16 year low, but you know that. Gas prices rising. Energy costs rising. Food prices increasing rapidly. Home prices falling. Credit card debt soaring. Governments trying to increase taxes to make up their shortfalls while you have to cut back.

Tragic that when you are having to cut back just to get by that your government at all levels wants more so they do not have to cut back.

Government is the monkey on your back and you need to beat it off with a stick.

But you know all of this.

The May reading marks the fifth straight month of decline and is the lowest since the index registered 54.6 in October 1992 when the economy was coming out of a recession. [Read]
