I Donít Own an SUV, but Iíll Leave the Option Open

We all make choices, some good, some bad. There are a couple of kinds of politicians, the ones who lead and the ones who want power at any cost. One is a leader. One is a pleaser. A pleaser has no convictions.

What kind of car do you have? Does it make a difference? What kind of politician evades such a simple question? When John F. Kerry answers such a question by explaining away the family SUV with ``the family has it. I don't have it,Ē what is one supposed to do?

Leaders are necessary in times of hardship, and preferable in other times, though not as necessary. If one is uncomfortable with oneself regarding simple vehicle ownership because he wants to give an answer that will please, how can he lead? Why would anyone give him the chance?

ďThe family has it. I don't have it.Ē Clear Politics.
