Could it Be? Politics in Science and the FDA?
As hard as it may be for some to fathom, it appears that the GAO has found something unusual about the way the FDA rejected Plan B’s application to be sold over-the-counter.
Plan B is a morning after pregnancy pill, and with a bit of Clear Politics the FDA managed to inject itself well beyond the science and decline the application. Is that not like saying, “We prefer you use some other method, we’re uncomfortable with your choice. Yes, it’s legal, but we’re uncomfortable, and we don’t want you to make us uncomfortable.”
It is unfortunate the right does not understand how similar they are to the left: We want the government out or our lives, unless it is an important issue, and we will define important.
Freedom? Right.
