Whoever knows he is deep, strives for clarity; whoever would like to appear deep to the crowd, strives for obscurity. For the crowd considers anything deep if only it cannot see to the bottom: the crowd is so timid and afraid of going into the water.

- Friedrich Nietzsche

The "Why"s

We have talked about the many ramifications of crony-capitalism, and there is a great article we suggest you read, Matt Taibbi's The Great American Bubble Machine

When you read this article you will not only understand how the Goldman Sachs owns the government, and you, but how something that has been promoted as "for the environment" is really for the government and investment banks to financially rape ignorant Americans.

Please, take the time to read the article and understand how "global warming" is a business model just like peak oil...and you're screwed. (Why do you think an investment bank would spend time lobbying for cap-and-trade?)
