Subject opinion to coercion: whom will you make your inquisitors? Fallible men, governed by bad passions, by private as well as public reasons. And why subject it to coercion? To produce uniformity? But is uniformity of opinion desirable? No more than of face and stature.

Obama to Double-down on Recession

It is interesting what people choose not to see, but the truth will float past anyway:

U.S. companies, consumers and communities may grow so addicted to government financial help that cutting them off could trigger another recession soon after the current one ends. [Read]

The only problem with this is the assumption that Obama will be cutting back on government spending. He has made it clear that, like Schwarzenegger in California, he is willing to allow the government to implode rather than facing the truth of fiscal responsibility.

Either way, we are all screwed...and those at the bottom he professes to help will be hurt the most. But he cares? Idiots...
