Republicans Alive?

It seems hard to believe, but the (R)epublicans may still be alive in Washington DC:

Boehner to GOP: Vote against stimulus

President Barack Obama is coming to the Capitol this afternoon to curry favor with congressional Republicans. But it appears GOP leaders have already made up their minds to oppose his $825 billion stimulus plan.

The question that needs to be answered is whether this is a sincere ideological difference--they already approved the first one, that got the bailout ball rolling, when they could have stopped this debacle--or is this just a way for them to get more face time with Obama?
