This above all; to thine own self be true.

Day 01 of February

Strange

Strange, but have you noticed that the people that are asking you to save energy and the environment for future generations are the same people who have no problem foisting financial burdens of ruin upon future generations?

Remember, it is not what one says but what one does that demonstrates who they are.

"To you, future generations, we give a country that is a national park with the rules and regulations to ensure it is to remain a park forever. By the way, we needed to live comfortably while creating this park, so we have left you with enough financial burden to bankrupt the next three generations. You're welcome."

But...

"But what?! Don't be ingrates! Don't you see how much we cared, the sacrifices we made?"

You cared only about yourselves. I have to work my life paying for your dream? I have to work my life without having a dream of my own?

"How could your dream be different than ours?"

Because I care about my children, and I do not think it is responsible for me to burden them with my dreams.

"Ingrates."

You are evil. If I left this legacy to future generations, I would be ashamed, and you are proud. But for you to recognize that you would have to care about something other than yourself, and clearly the core competency of your generations was ignorance.

"How dare you."

How dare you.

"If we would have known you would feel this way, we would not have sacrificed."

Sacrificed? You would not have sacrificed us? Another lie, for then you would have had to have been responsible.

"Don't you see how we cared."

Yes, completely. You cared about nothing but yourselves.

Day 19 of January

Tragic

The level of discourse in this day and age is pathetic that a "Top Story" is a short, sophomoric article making fun of a presidential candidate's high school yearbook photo. There is not a lot we have to add to these conversations. We think it is actually important that there has not been a US budget in nearly 1000 days.

A bankrupt country ignoring their budget responsibility, how shocking. That fools would spend their time discussing high school yearbook photos, how shocking. That one passes for news and the other is a non-issue, how tragic.

Fools entertaining fools. Where will this lead? There are consequences to irresponsibility...as we will see...unfortunately, future generations will bear the burden for the dalliance.

Day 06 of January

Giving Up

Obama's America. Your America?

Though there are some who say the unemployment rate has fallen, you must recognize it as pretty talk.

"If we had the same labor participation rate today that we did when President Obama first took office, our unemployment rate would be 10.9%." [Read]

Honesty, something you have to seek when it comes to politics and pretty talk.

Day 13 of December

Chris Dodd Continues to Crash America

One of the proud Democrats who helped inflate and crash the housing bubble while getting special favor from his filthy friend Angelo Mozilo (Friends of Angelo) has retired from office and is using his influence with other proud Democrats to continue his assault on the American citizenry. Introducing MPAA chairman Chris Dodd and his new legislation:

The bills essentially call for censorship of online speech in such a way, and with so little recourse for those accused of "infringing" on intellectual property rights, that the bills will likely not survive the scrutiny of the courts even if they do survive in Congress. But if Congress does pass these laws, it will be a testament to the enormous power and influence of two Democratic special interest groups—the Hollywood lobby, comprised of the Motion Picture Association of America and the Recording Industry Association of America, and the trial lawyers. [Read]

Though he is getting paid handsomely for his effort to use his influence to harm the citizenry, let us hope the citizenry gets wind of this before it passes. Google is putting up a fight. And, yes, these are his words:

"When the Chinese told Google that they had to block sites or they couldn't do [business] in their country, they managed to figure out how to block sites."

Chris Dodd, helping run American like a for-profit company for politicians and influence peddlers. Though he is a mouthpiece for the cause, lest one thinks Republicans are not in on the action, look at the bill's sponsors: Sponsors

And so many 'artists' consider themselves Democrats...if only they could read and reason.

Freedom, I dare say, is no longer a viable option.

Lying

We will leave this here for you:

Can you withdraw a lie?

Day 07 of December

Criminal

How is this not criminal?

Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales. [Read]

So, why not poison children to make the case for cleaner water? Perhaps the government will kill minorities to make a case for stronger 'hate crime' legislation. They could starve people to show a greater need for government food assistance. The possibilities of harming the citizenry in the name of a good cause are endless, and this action has verifiably led to the death of a US citizen; someone should be charged with murder; no one will be charged with anything.

This is criminal.

Day 01 of December

Perfect Metaphor

Can you think of an image that makes a more perfect metaphor?

Occupy L.A.: 30 tons of debris left behind at City Hall tent city

They want to make a mess for others to take care of, and that surprises who?

Day 21 of November

Freedom

There are problems with our society. It is clear we have strayed from the tenets of freedom and liberty, but we struggle to right the ship. The underpinnings of a free society is a free-market economy, which has been infected by crony-capitalism in our country--the government in bed with 'winners' supported via a quid pro quo system. But for the incredible fools who still think socialism and communism are viable answers, remember what you get with those systems:

Cambodia genocide: Khmer Rouge trio go on trial

If you need it a little simpler, read up on Joseph Stalin's Great Purge.

Now name a free society where the leadership executes it citizenry en masse?

And yet, you will still have proponents of murderously miserable political systems.

(As to our problems, watch: Solyndra Is “Tip of the Iceberg”...)

Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi very uncomfortable discussing healthcare:

She still manages to build the manure pile.

Day 14 of October

The Movements

For those enjoying the show being put on by the idiots of the 'Occupy' movements, take a time out to visit a bit of sanity:

I am the 53% [A favorite]

as opposed to the 99%er popsicle stick idiots.

Are you a 53%er?

Day 12 of October

History Righter?

It is clear that Obama has no idea how to deal with the present, but Captain 20/20 20/200 Hindsight thinks he knows how the past should have been conducted:

Leaked cables show Japan nixed a presidential apology to Hiroshima and Nagasaki for using nukes to end the overseas contingency operation known as World War II. Will the next president apologize for the current one? [Read]

To call this president the 'leader' of the free world is to have no understanding of the man.

Day 09 of October

Occupy Movement

This is a tipping point, reason vs. ignorance.

These people are brain dead followers:

While the occupy movement is fueled by idiot 'liberals' [They have usurped such an excellent word.], those who believe in individual responsibility are out working to better their life, which in turn will better life for all. The question you must ask yourself, is who are you? Are you going to whine about corporations and wish for socialism/communism when history has demonstrated the complete and utter failure of these structures, or are you going the work to improve yourself, your life, your lot? Whichever you choose, who do you think is better off in the end, one who works to achieve or one who asks, demands from others?

This is a tipping point, you believe in liberty and responsibility or you are one of these brain dead idiots.

FYI, they are watching around the world. From the UK:

People trying to understand the 'Occupy Wall Street' protests going on in the United States need to understand one thing – these guys are dumb as a bag of rocks.

They are so insanely jealous of the popular conservative Tea Party movement that they want to recreate the model for America-hating leftists.

Day 07 of October

Obama the Looter

For those who do not realize that President Obama and his administration are a bunch of third rate crony-capitalist looters, may we suggest you look into the growing Solyndra scandal.

To start, something recent: SOLYNDRAGATE: Huge Email Dump Implicates Obama And Rahm In Bankruptcy Scandal

A truth: Solyndra scandal exposes the lie of government 'investment'

None of this is the role of the government...but no one seems to care about that anymore.

Day 06 of October

Death of a Capitalist

As most know, yesterday one of the greatest capitalists of modern times, Steve Jobs, passed away after battling cancer. His contributions to modern materialistic and productivity based society have been staggering, and we are fortunate that the incredibly profitable cash rich mega-corporation he founded has survived. Because of the capitalist instincts of Steve Jobs, hundreds of thousands of people around the world will continue to thrive off of the corporation he built and left.

Steve Jobs passed, but he lives on.

As an original FatMac user, it was a great ride...

Day 22 of September

Harvard Strikes Again!

Elizabeth Warren: A professor at Harvard Law School.

We once thought she was different, not a politician per se, but then she tasted the nectar of power and became drunk with the possibility of running your life.
