Judge Wont Play?

A judge declined to play the Clear Politics of Congress in the Terri Schiavo case. Congress was playing hard, as did the president, but U.S. District Judge James Whittemore decided that appropriate due was paid to Terri Schiavo when the nineteen Florida judges before him who have heard the case over the last seven years—all siding with Michael Schiavo—made their decisions, and the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case.

Does anyone not think this was a game of Clear Politics being played in Washington with the tragedy of Terri Schiavo?

Wow. Perhaps there is not agreement, but that is a bit harsh.
